These are challenging times for all of us. Almost everyone will be affected by the coronavirus outbreak in some way and we will see some big changes in our lives.
For us at TCBC, we have gone, almost overnight, from having our best year ever to the polar opposite. The unprecedented travel restrictions due to COVID-19 have affected all of our tours over the coming months.
We are deeply sorry that, through no fault of your own, you can no longer travel on the wonderful trips we had ready for you. We can only imagine how disappointing this must be for schools, teachers, parents and particularly the students due to go on them.
We understand you will want answers and we are working hard to get these to you. However the whole travel industry is suffering at the moment and it is taking much longer than usual to process everything.
We are being guided, supported and advised by ABTA and the School Travel Forum. We are currently awaiting the results of advanced ongoing dialogue between ABTA and the Government as to how they can best support and help the travel industry respond to the current crisis and assist their customers in the best way possible. We hope to have clarification on these discussions in the next week.
Our employees are now all working from home, but we are able to do this effectively and you shouldn’t notice much difference in how you communicate with us.
We’d like to thank all our customers in the meantime for your patience and understanding as we navigate through this extraordinary situation. We have received a lot of support and kind words for which we are humbled and very grateful. We value our relationship with all our customers and we are determined to come through this and be there for you when you need us to organise your next trip.
