Day 1 - Fly to Pisa, Visit the Leaning Tower of Pisa on the way to Florence
Arrive in Pisa and before getting transferred to Florence by coach, enjoy a visit to the Leaning Tower of Pisa, the medieval bell tower famous for the unstable settling of its foundations which caused a four-degree lean.
Transfer to Florence and check in to your accommodation. Enjoy a relaxing dinner and get ready for the days ahead.
Day 2 - Guided Walking Tour of Florence, Uffizi Gallery
This morning meet your guide in the lobby and head into town to explore Tuscany's capital city. Your local guide will tell you the stories behind the sights to help you gain a deeper understanding of the history and culture of Florence, bringing the city to life. We will admire the iconic Ponte Vecchio Bridge where colourful jewellery shops line the cobbled streets. We will visit the leather market and rub the nose of Il Porcellino for good luck. We will visit the Duomo Square, where the magnificent Florence Cathedral is, named Il Duomo for the stunning dome that crowns it. We will also take a look at the gold doors of the Baptistery, the Uffizi Courtyard and the sculptures at Piazza Signoria.
In the afternoon, visit the Uffizi Gallery, home to an outstanding collections of ancient sculptures and paintings from the Middle Ages to the Modern history. The collections of paintings from the 14th-century and Renaissance period include some absolute masterpieces.
Day 3 - Accademia Gallery, Palazzo Vecchio, Bargello National Museum
You will start your day by visiting the Accademia Gallery, which displays the largest number of Michelangelo's sculptures in the world. The Accademia also offers works by pronounced Italian artists such as Domenico Ghirlandaio, Pontormo, Sandro Botticelli, Andrea del Sarto, Allessando Allori, among others.
Later on, visit the Palazzo Vecchio, Florence's town hall, located in Piazza della Signoria. The palace is one of the most important and notable symbols of Florence and it represents a splendid example of medieval civil architecture.
Then continue with a visit to the Bargello National Museum, which exhibits a large collection of sculptures, including the renowned bronze David by Donatello.
Day 4 - Free Time, Fly Home
After check out, if time permitted, visit the San Lorenzo Market, comprised of two separate markets; Mercato Centrale, an indoor market, home to Florentine dishes and local ingredients, and the outdoor section that lines the surroundings streets of the Central Market building, selling pottery, leather, clothing and many souvenirs.
Later on, head to the airport for your flight home.
