Day 1 - Arrival in Rome and Guided Walking Tour
Benvenuti a Roma! Begin your language immersion journey by transferring to your centrally located accommodation via coach. Meet your expert Italian-speaking guide and set off on a captivating walking tour of Rome’s most iconic sights. Practise your Italian as you marvel at the Spanish Steps, toss a coin into the Trevi Fountain, stand in awe of the Pantheon, and soak in the vibrant atmosphere of Piazza Navona. Next, visit Via del Corso. This main street, which formed a straight channel through the labyrinthine alleys of Ancient Rome, offers a perfect setting to practise Italian shopping vocabulary. It links the northern entrance gate to the city, Porta del Popolo, and its piazza, Piazza del Popolo, to the heart of the city at Piazza Venezia, at the base of the Capitoline Hill.
