- Day
Day 1 - Arrive in Paris, walking tour, Le Stade de France
Students travel to Paris by air or by Eurostar, which departs from London St Pancras. Upon arrival, transfer to your accommodation by coach or by metro to begin your Paris educational tour.
First up is a guided walking tour of Paris, delivered in French or English and tailored to your group’s abilities. Your tour will take in the city’s incredible sites, including Notre Dame, the Conciergerie, Ile de la Cité, Pont Neuf and the Latin Quarter. Finish your walking tour in the Montparnasse district - Montparnasse Tower has spectacular views across the city’s stunning landmarks. Plus, interactives here help to boost vocabulary from the walking tour.
From here, travel to Le Stade de France, the largest stadium in France. Used by both the France national football team and French rugby union team for international games, it has an all-seater capacity of 81,000. A behind-the-scenes tour, available in French or English, takes in the players’ tunnel, changing rooms, pitch, and on-site museum.
Finish the evening in style with a Seine river cruise, departing at the foot of the Eiffel Tower, to drink in the sights and sounds of Paris at night. Headsets are available for a tour commentary in French or English.
Day 2 - Learn French in Paris, The Choco-Story, French cinema or theatre
Bonjour! It’s time to head to our carefully selected French language school in Paris. Classes are curated to match your group’s abilities and learning goals. Put your learning to immediate use exploring one of the city's outstanding food markets. See the importance of French cuisine to French culture and show off your language skills in the patisserie, boulangerie and fromagerie! Learning French in Paris has never been so incentivised!
This afternoon, take your group to The Choco-Story experience. With a French and English audio guide, students can discover chocolate’s 4,000 years of history. Virtual demonstrations show chocolatiers at work, and the experience includes a tasting. Workshops can also be arranged.
This evening, it’s time to visit the cinema or theatre, in French of course! Théâtre Mogador offers Broadway shows with a French twist, while Lost in Frenchlation shows French cinema with English subtitles.
Day 3 - Full day excursion of your choice
Take your French language trip to the next level with a visit to Disneyland Paris, Parc Astérix, or Aquaboulevard Water Park. These whole-day trip options will excite and delight. Parc Astérix is targeted at a younger audience, with Disneyland Paris home to more thrill rides. Both are a short distance from the centre of Paris.
Day 4 - French language class, French Art and culture
This morning, it’s time for your second language class. Develop your skills further and be ready to impress those in the UK on your return.
Round off your visit with a cultural immersion at the Musée d’Orsay and Pompidou Centre. The Musée d’Orsay, an art museum housed in a former railway station on the banks of the Seine, displays a superb collection of Impressionist works such as Renoir, Sisley, Pissarro, Monet, Munch and Klimt. Centre Pompidou is the first collection of modern and contemporary art in Europe, its building instantly recognisable. Outside, street artists promote a lively and enjoyable atmosphere.
From here, it’s time to travel back to the UK after a fantastic French language trip. Beau Paris, à la prochaine fois!
