Over the course of their stay, the group visited Hampton Court Palace, Shakespeare’s Globe, the Tower of London, the West End and Warner Bros. Studio Tour - The Making of Harry Potter, creating a varied itinerary that showcased the many different sides of the capital.
Along the way, they were also joined by a familiar travelling companion - Teacher Ted, who proved to be just as enthusiastic about sightseeing as the students.
A Sea of Yellow Caps Around the Capital
Moving 72 primary school pupils around London requires a little organisation - and a good visual system.
Throughout the trip, the students wore bright yellow caps, making it easy for teachers to quickly identify members of the group as they navigated busy streets and attractions across the city.
The result was a very recognisable group appearing at some of London’s most famous landmarks - something that also made for some fantastic photos along the way. If you look closely, you may even spot Teacher Ted popping up among the sea of yellow caps.

One particularly interesting connection for the group came from their guide Harry Clayton, who once organised school trips himself as a history teacher at a school that travelled with us.
