Welcome to Part 2 of our student feedback series marking the end of our summer season!
Here, we continue to share the experiences and insights as written by students, who have travelled recently with us, in their post tour surveys, detailing what they learned, enjoyed and felt could be improved. This feedback is our most powerful mechanism for assessing the true value of knowledge gained by our students outside the classroom.
Abbey College, Year 9, London
"TCBC School Tours is a great company that is worth going with!"
Simon Langton School for Boys, Year 9, Krakow
"If you ever get the opportunity to travel, take advantage of it."
Presdales School, Year 9, Battlefields
"I really appreciated visiting the cemeteries. Seeing the loss of human life from WW1 in this way, rather than as a statistic, has truly opened my eyes to how many were affected."
Greenhead College, Year 12, Wurzburg & Bamberg
"The tours expanded my knowledge of the European Witch Craze while providing in-depth analysis of the Bamberg region, which will be useful in my coursework."
Outwood Grange Academy, Year 10, Berlin
"It was genuinely the best four days of my life, and I loved every second. I will remember it for a lifetime. Thank you to all the teachers who made it happen!"
Berkhamsted School, Year 7, Naples
"This was the best trip that I've ever been on!"
"The trip was phenomenal. I would recommend it for any age group!"
Repton School, Year 9, Battlefields
"It was a really meaningful experience to go through fields where thousands of people fought in the war and to follow in the footsteps of soldiers."
"The Battlefield trip was extremely useful for my history studies, and the tour guides were very knowledgeable and informative."
Pendleton Sixth Form College, Year 12, London
"Amazing trip, well planned, worth the money."
Winchester College, Year 12, Tallinn
"An amazing trip, thanks very much. We had a guide staying with us for the duration of the trip who was kind and knowledgeable. The tours were interesting and useful, and overall we had an excellent time thanks to TCBC!"
Bexley Grammar School, Year 10/11, Riga/Tallinn
"We thought the best part would be the souvenirs, but actually, it was the cities, tour guides, views, museums, and cafes :)"
"The range of different activities and experiences on the itinerary was great - I felt like we made the most of each day on our trip."
