TCBC School Tours is a member of the School Travel Forum, a not-for-profit organisation which sets the benchmark for health and safety standards of travel companies, and subsequently awards the Learning Outside the Classroom (LOtC) Quality Badge.
Recently, the Department for Education (DfE) released new guidance for schools undertaking educational visits: "Health and Safety on educational visits"
This pivotal new guidance for schools specifically endorses the LOtC Quality Badge as the principal accreditation that schools should look for when using external providers of LOtC experiences.
We completely support the advice that is given by the DfE and we would like to reassure you that we are in compliance with all areas mentioned in this report.
We would encourage schools to always to look for the LOtC Quality Badge when looking to book school trips with a provider.
