As 2025 draws to a close, we’ve found ourselves looking back with huge pride and gratitude. It’s been a year filled with milestones, memories and moments that remind us why we do what we do. From celebrating a major anniversary to winning an award we’ve worked towards for years, 2025 will always hold a special place in the TCBC story.
Celebrating 20 Years of TCBC
This year marked a very special milestone for us - 20 years of TCBC School Tours.
To celebrate, we wanted to do something meaningful and memorable, so in August we took 20 of our loyal teachers and guides, along with our entire team, to Tallinn for a few unforgettable days. It was our way of saying thank you to some of the people who have been part of our journey so far and helped shape TCBC over the past two decades.
From shared meals and laughter to reflecting on how far we’ve come, the trip was a reminder that TCBC has always been about people, the relationships we build with teachers, guides and schools, and the shared passion for creating exceptional educational experiences. It was the perfect way to honour our past while looking ahead to the future.
2025 Was Our Year: Best School Tour Operator at the School Travel Awards!
November brought another moment we’ll never forget.
After three years of being finalists, we were thrilled (and honestly quite emotional!) to finally be named Best School Tour Operator in the Small to Medium Sized Category at the School Travel Awards. This award means so much to us because it reflects the hard work, dedication and care our team puts into every single trip.
To finally hear our name called in 2025 felt like a huge validation, and the perfect way to mark our 20th anniversary year. We couldn’t be prouder of our team, and we’re incredibly grateful to the teachers who voted for us and schools who trust us year after year.

One of the most rewarding parts of 2025 has been the incredible feedback we’ve received from the teachers who have travelled with us.
Teachers consistently tell us how reassured they feel from the very first enquiry, how smoothly trips run on the ground, and how supported they feel every step of the way. Feedback like this means the world to us:

In 2025, we were also proud to become a corporate sponsor of Talbot House, Every Man’s Club in Poperinge - a place that holds deep historical significance and embodies values that align closely with our own.
Often described as “a home from home”, Talbot House represents openness, reflection and shared experience - values that strongly resonate with the purpose of educational travel. Supporting such an important organisation felt like a natural step for TCBC, and we’re honoured to play a small part in helping preserve its legacy for future generations of students and visitors.
Growing Bigger, Going Further
This year has also been one of growth.
We’ve expanded our team, welcomed new faces, and run more trips than ever before - to more destinations, for more schools, than at any other point in our history. Behind the scenes, that growth represents countless hours of planning, problem-solving and teamwork, all with the same goal: delivering outstanding school tours that teachers can trust.
