Here you will find a section of restored German trenches, four bunkers and two mine shafts which formed part of the German support trenches. A series of information panels give details of the events which took place here and explain what life at the front was like. The unique thing about Bayernwald is that it tells the history of the Battle of Messines from a German perspective.
